Adam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Adam’s approach to individual therapy is practical and generally focuses on linking a client’s thoughts and behaviors to their emotions, and learning new ways of thought and action to improve a person’s everyday experience. He works to incorporate what will work best for each client. Adam’s theoretical approach is called Cognitive- behavioral therapy.
Primary specialties include Anxiety/Fear, Depression, Parenting/Conflict Issues, Behavioral Issues, Couples Counseling, Christian Counseling, and Grief.
Adam’s approach to couples therapy is characterized by focusing on strengths each member brings to the relationship. He believes in identifying communication issues as well as forgiveness, the re-instillation of hope, respect, love, and intimacy are his primary strategies.
