Rebeca Meyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2013. Since then, her career as a Bilingual Spanish-English counselor has honed her skills in a diverse array of issues, including anxiety, depression, Traumatic Brain Injury, grief, chemical dependency, trauma, chronic pain, family issues, relationship issues, communication problems, and other general life circumstances. Her counseling approach is informed by a variety of theories that are proven to be most effective, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered, and others. She understands the importance of the decision to enter counseling and is prepared to collaborate with her clients in an active change process that is informed by the client’s goals and desires for personal transformation. As such, she has worked with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. What Rebeca most values in her career is the deep trust that is established in the counseling process, something that she regards as a gift that cannot be taken lightly.
