Nelson is a Physician Assistant with over three years of diverse clinical experience in emergency medicine, otolaryngology, and now psychiatry. He is excited to join the Mid Cities Psychiatry’s team and contribute to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.

Originally from California, Nelson worked in high-paced environments such as the ER, where he managed mental health crises, provided urgent interventions, and connected patients with critical resources. These experiences shaped his belief in the importance of listening deeply, building trust, and creating treatment plans tailored to everyone’s needs.

Fluent in Spanish and dedicated to serving diverse communities, Nelson brings a warm, collaborative approach grounded in the latest medical evidence ensuring that every patient receives care that honors their story and supports their path to healing.
