Dr. La is a board-eligible psychiatrist with extensive training and experience in delivering mental
health services across diverse settings. Having completed his residency in Psychiatry at John
Peter Smith Health Network, he also holds a Doctor of Osteopathy from the Texas College of
Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. La has a special interest in forensic psychiatry through his ongoing
role at the My Health My Resources of Tarrant County.
In addition to his psychiatry, Dr. La is actively involved in community service and leadership. he
has directed charity initiatives for the Sonny and Anna Pham Foundation and led significant
events for the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association at TCOM, demonstrating a
commitment to community health and student mentorship.
Dr. La enjoys participating in outdoor activities like hiking and bird watching, which allow him to
connect with nature and maintain personal wellness.
